Crossword puzzles

The crossword puzzle is the most popular language game. Every week you can find many crossword magazines containing an infinity of various clones of crosswords. It is generally not very easy to solve crosswords but it is much more difficult to compose one of high quality. One of the types of crosswords is a square game. It is formed by a square formed by letters read in a horizontal, vertical and sometimes cross direction. Usually the words in all (or some) directions are identical as you can see in this example:

or not (such square games are called: double square games):

Could you devise a square game of the 5 x 5 dimension yourself? It is extremely difficult but try it and imitate the famous Latin 5 x 5 square game:

A R E P O
T E N E T
O P E R A
R O T A S

whose literal translation is as follows: 'Arepo the sower is straining to hold the wheels'.
